Emergency: Exit now

Get help

You're not in trouble for reading this. Here is how to reach someone today, and how Sita's House will work with you once we open our doors.

If someone could walk in, press Exit now at the top of the page, or press Esc twice. It takes you to a search page straight away. What the exit button can and can't do

I need help

Sita's House is getting ready to welcome its first residents. We aren't taking requests online yet, and we'd rather tell you that than leave you waiting on a form. The lines below can help today, and the National Human Trafficking Hotline can connect you with services near you.

If you're under 18: in Illinois, many adults who work with young people, including counselors, social workers and clergy, must report abuse of anyone under 18 so that you can be protected. You can also call the DCFS hotline yourself.

I'm helping someone else

Caseworkers, pastors, teachers, family and friends: referrals will open here soon. Until then, the National Human Trafficking Hotline takes calls from people who are worried about someone else, and can point you to local help.

Please don't share someone's story or location with us by email. When referrals open, we'll explain the safest way to reach us.

If you need help right now

These lines answer day and night.
